We are excited to announce that StreamlineMD is ready to participate with the new American Vein & Lymphatic Society (AVLS) Patient Reported Outcome (PRO) Venous Registry 2.0. We worked closely with the AVLS team to ensure that the documentation and data they want to collect is available in your StreamlineMD EHR. Documentation of this AVLS data will be completed/gathered at the same time as your normal documentation for office visits, ultrasounds and procedures. StreamlineMD will upload the collected data directly to the AVLS PRO Venous Registry 2.0 on your behalf.
If you previously participated with the ACP PRO Venous Registry, you know how seamless the documentation was. Now that the ACP has been changed to the AVLS, the 2.0 Registry has also gone through an extensive overhaul.
As a StreamlineMD client, participation with the AVLS PRO Venous Registry 2.0 is offered at no charge to current AVLS members, for a 2-year period of time. If you are interested in participating, the first step is to click the link below and complete their application. Once completed, an AVLS team member will reach out to you and discuss the requirements. After you sign the contract, a StreamlineMD implementation specialist will reach out to you to determine if your documentation requires any enhancements.
Complete the initial application: AVLS 2.0 Registry Application
The AVLS PRO Venous Registry 2.0 is a robust database which collects both physician and patient reported outcome (PRO) data through the use of AVLS certified EHR systems. This makes the registry an easily utilized research and benchmarking tool and offers a number of opportunities for providers to participate and specifically allow patients to share their stories through generic and disease specific quality of life scales. It is also the only registry dedicated specifically to the breadth of venous disease, designed by those practicing in the field.
