Victory! Aetna/eviCore Cancel Arterial Intervention Pre-auths

Aetna/eviCore Cancel Arterial Intervention Pre-auths

Great News!

After several months of SIR’s physician leadership and teams working with medical directors from Aetna/eviCore, Aetna/eviCore will remove the IVUS CPT codes 37252 and 37253 from the pre-auth policy for arterial lower extremity revascularization procedures.

While this is positive news, this does not guarantee payment.

SIR Leadership, well done!
